Construction Phase Cost Advice
Stage / Interim valuations for payment
Many contracts make provision for stage or
interim payments throughout the contract period. The protection
of the client’s financial position depends on an accurate
assessment of the value at each stage. GNA are very experienced
in measuring works done, assessing and agreeing values for stage
payments. We will also report on such agreements to funding
bodies for release of capital.
Variations costs and Financial Reporting
Due to the bespoke nature of each and every
project variations will inevitable crop up. A key function of
GNA as your QS is to measure, value and agree a fair and
reasonable cost for such variations and, where possible, provide
cost advice to the client before the works are instructed.
We will account for all such variations (both
savings and extras) and report to the client on a regular basis
to ensure he is fully aware of his cost obligations throughout
the project. This process will continue to the end of the
project culminating in the agreement of the final cost. We
believe that accurate and early advice throughout the project is
the key to ensuring the project is completed within budget.
