CONSERVATION

Conservation

The United Kingdom is blessed with a rich and abundant architectural heritage and it is of vital importance that these buildings are maintained and preserved to be appreciated for generations to come.

GNA; as Quantity Surveyors specialising in conservation and restoration work; understand that maintaining these assets and future proofing them against the inevitable onset of deterioration can be a costly endeavor.

Furthermore; the lack of specialist Contractors and tradesman coupled with the inflated costs and bureaucracy associated with work to a listed building can prove daunting to all but the most experienced project manager.

GNA are ideally suited to assist you in all aspects of the project, from initial funding applications and budget estimation to preparing / agreeing contracts and tender analysis.

Having worked on grade I buildings of national significance, grade II stately homes, churches and numerous buildings in Conservation Areas; for a variety of clients, we have the both experience and the expertise.

Notable projects we have been commissioned on include the restoration of the Bennerley Viaduct, various alteration projects of the famous Grade I D10 building at Boots HQ and the refurbishment of the Sabraon Barracks and A.R.C Northampton, both grade II listed.
